4-1078 Elite Series "Cool White" Auto Darkening Welding Helmet

Auto-Darkening at it's best! Our all new K-T Elite series helmets offer shades 4-13 for a wider variety of welding applications. They are made of strong, yet lightweight, molded nylon with a ratcheting headgear and moisture absorbing headband lining. User can customize the fit with a special up/down, forward/backward headband mechanism, reducing fatigue of the head and neck. Sensitivity adjustment knob is located on the inside control panel with all other controls, making it more convenient to adjust. Upon striking an arc, the filter automatically changes from clear to dark in only 1/30,000 of a second. K-T helmets have four optical sensors for better detection of the arc. Operator can set the delay time for the filter screen to change from dark to clear state - short, medium or long. Replacement lenses are available, making changing scratched or damaged lenses fast and easy! Dual purpose welding or grinding mode. UV/IR Protection provide full protection for the user’s eyes and face, even in the light state at up to Shade 16 (DIN) at all times. Increased field of vision makes it easier to see the working parameter. The K-T Elite series viewing area measures 20% larger than our traditional GEN II helmets. The new lens measures 4.00” x 2.56”. A 2.0 magnifying lens is included with each helmet. This lens can be placed into the standard built in holder that is also included. K-T's helmet is powered by high performance solar cells, and two long lasting lithium-ion batteries. A battery test feature is located on the control panel for easy battery testing. ADF lens conserves power by going to standby after 5 minutes of inactivity. Conforms with ANSI and CE safety standards. The K-T Elite series lens received CE class 1/1/1/1. The highest rating in optical clarity and high definition.
